Today, I’m a graphic designer and illustrator living inland in middle Tennessee (away from the coast, but still near water - rivers and lakes have beaches too!). I’ve built a life around the things I love most: illustration, family, nature, animals, and the places that make a community feel like home. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Austin Peay State University, but illustration has always been where my heart is.

I combine traditional and digital media in my work, often beginning with watercolor, pen and ink, or colored pencil before bringing my illustrations into the digital world. I’m especially drawn to the natural world, local history, old buildings, curious creatures, and the little details that make ordinary places feel magical.

When I’m not drawing, you can usually find me painting outdoors (a la, plein air), hiking the trails of local parks, taking (too many) photos of flowers, researching local historic places, or spending time with my husband and our two kids (and joyfully beating them all in the boardgame Settlers of Catan).
